Arcadia cottages is a family owned business. The family has ancestral ties to Lake Bunyonyi and one of the owners visited his relatives in this area as a child in the 1950s. The good memories of the breathtaking scenery inspired him to later on acquire land in this area and develop it.

Arcadia cottages Lake Bunyonyi has contributed to development of the area. Tapped water was only introduced to the area at the time that the owners of the cottages started their project. Due to this the local people in the neighbourhood now have access to clean tap water closer to their residences.

The majority of the employees at Arcadia cottages Lake Bunyonyi are locals and it is hoped that more employment opportunities will arise for the locals at both Lake Bunyonyi and Lake Mburo Arcadia Cottages.

The cottages are found in Lake Mburo National Park and Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale.They are majestically set on a hillside in extemsive gardens stretching over a 14-acre area. The cottages overlook Lake Bunyonyi and have a very clear view of 26 of 36 scenic islands in the lake.

They are designed to provide the client with a uniquely tranquil and serene atmosphere.
