Arcadia Cottages are located in Western Uganda .Arcadia cottages Lake Bunyonyi  has a breathtaking vista. Lake Bunyonyi a beautiful crater lake, one of the deepest in Africa, is nestled between beautiful terraced hills. Lake Bunyonyi has glassy still waters and is home to crayfish.

On a beautiful clear day, one can see Mount Muhavura the mountain that erupted and led to the creation of Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi has a number of islands including the infamous punishment island where pregnant unmarried girls were abandoned and the former leper island. Leprosy was eliminated in the 1930s.
